Mermaid Hair, Don't Care
I love this colorway, I have since its inception. But, to name this colorway, I truly struggled. I just couldn't seem to find something that fit it's awesomeness. So, I reached out to the public and this is the name that was favorited by all.
Sometimes you see colors that you think will look good together, but you're not sure exactly how it will turn out. This was the product of one of those crazy ideas. I love this colorway, and a fan helped name it. She said the colors reminded her of her visit to the Cornish coastline, and the name stuck.
I was scrolling through Pinterest and saw a bouquet of flowers with color swatches next to it. I knew I needed to try and replicate those colors, and this is what came of that.
Bird of Paradise
Bird of Paradise came from blending beautifully rich tones to achive a wonderful balance of color.
As I was working this colorway, I started getting worried that it would become muddied, but then I worked up a knit swatch and instantly fell in love.
I have always loved the Japanese cherry trees. Seeing the beautiful pink blossoms are a sure sign that spring is here. As the Japanese culture is very prevalent in my heritage, I knew I needed to celebrate it. I feel this colorway truly captures the essence of the Cherry Blossom Festivals around the world.
Nevertheless, She Persisted
This is the colorway that is part of the #titsoutcollective If I Want Exposure, I'll Get My Tits Out. My edition is called Nevertheless, She Persisted in honor of the fight for feminism. My charity is the Junior League of Atlanta, and $5 of every skein will be donated. Knitters, Crocheters, Dyers, and Designers are uniting across the world. Join us and celebrate!
Come, I Smell Children
A little hocus pocus never hurt anybody? This is my nod to a Halloween classic.
Stone Cold Precious
Sapphires, Emeralds, Rubies, and Amethyst. These are the precious stones that inspired this colorway. It's vibrant and rich. It looks amazing on any base you put it on.
The sun has only just set, the evening sky is alight with a multitude of colors, the waves are gently crashing upon the sand. Can you see it? I can even smell the salty air. Pure Delight!
It's So Crazy
Designed for Stitches United 2019, I made this color to show just how different a single dye bath can come out. It's a beautiful rainbow and will create some fantastic fabric.
Do You Remember Lisa Frank?
If you went to school in the States, in the 80s and 90s, then this color will bring you back to your childhood. When I see this color, I think of Trapper Keepers, and folders, pencil cases, and side ponytails...What do you think of?
